Singapore-developed snack “Pili Poppers” joins Pili Ani Lifestyle Grand Opening at Greenhills Mall
Pili Ani Lifestyle is an experiential extension of the brand that offers holistic wellness experiences and mindful living services grounded in Filipino heritage.
The grand opening featured an interactive activity in which participants were allowed to sample Pili Ani products per booth assigned to each of its collections, or so-called “ritual.” Upon registration, joiners were given an event kit including a free coffee and pastry stub, powered by 1197 Cafe, a stamp card to be signed by a staff member from each ritual upon visit and claim of a free sample, and a pouch in which joiners can store their free items.
After the trip around the product booths and completing all five signatures, participants were given a free pack of
Pili Poppers
to enjoy. The superfood snack, developed in Singapore, was made with Philippine pili nuts to maximize its health benefits and serve as a healthy alternative to conventional snacks available in today’s grocery stores. By collaborating, both brands aim to further highlight the potential of Philippine pili, promote local produce, and provide livelihood opportunities to Filipino farmers.
Moving along a similar trajectory as Pili Ani by supporting and prioritizing Philippine agriculture, Pili Poppers also adheres to international standards, focusing on Singaporean guidelines supervised by
Unicorn Connect Pte Ltd.
It is manufactured and distributed in the Philippines by
Azius Ventures Corporation
, and is now available for online purchase in both Southeast Asian markets through
Mo & Bear
for Philippine customers, and
Tatak Pinoy SG
for Singaporean customers.
Pili Poppers notes its use of sprouted and activated pili nuts, where an antinutrient component (phytic acid) is removed to allow for more effective mineral absorption. Moreover, it replaces refined and artificial sugars with a natural sweetener extracted from corn (NUTRIOSE® FM 06), a sugar alternative that reduces glycaemic impact. With these features, it expresses health benefits for middle to high age brackets covering both adults and seniors.
Through Pili Ani’s ritual stations, its complete range of wellness, skincare, body care, hair care, and beauty products was displayed. Visitors explored essential oils, skincare essentials, body care products, hair care solutions demonstrated on-site, and the brand's lip butters, which were featured alongside a buy-one-get-one-free promotion in celebration of National Lipstick Month, which runs from July 5 to July 30, 2026, in both their online and physical stores.
In a conversation with San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora who took the time to visit the event, Pili Ani Founder Rosalina Tan invited everyone to check out the store. “We are promoting not only good products that make you beautiful, but also healthy. It protects your skin. The pili is only known as a nut, but now we have pili pulp oil; we have the elemi. So one tree, maraming gamit. It is not only for nutraceuticals, but it’s also for cosmeceuticals. But also, in the future, it will be pharmaceutical. Ang advocacy ko ngayon, ‘3Ps,’ Plant Pili for Philippines. ’Yan ang makakaligtas sa atin sa economy natin.”
As initial discussions continue, Pili Ani and Pili Poppers are exploring a collaboration that could bring Pili Poppers to Pili Ani’s retail stores.
