Crispy Laing Pockets
Crispy Laing Pockets are a delectable appetizer featuring a savory mixture of laing, cheddar cheese, spring onions, and white onion, wrapped in molo wrappers and fried to golden perfection. The filling is chilled for at least two hours before being sealed in triangle-shaped wrappers and fried until crispy. For this specific recipe, we will be using laing in a bottle for a faster and more convenient process! Ingredients
80 pcs large Square Molo wrapper
1 bottle Kucai’s Kitchen Laing
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon chopped spring onions
1 tablespoon minced white onion
Flour
Water
Frying Oil
Preparation
Directions

- Mix together all ingredients.
- Place in a sealed container and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Place a spoonful of laing mixture on one wrapper and carefully fold and wrap in a triangle shape.
- Seal the triangle wraps with a mixture of water and flour.
- Get a fry pan or wok ready, fill it with oil and turn the heat to high.
- Fry the laing pockets until golden brown. Remove and place on top of a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
